- Make a difference for our
Church, Community, Council, Family and Youth.
- Do Charitable Works by:
-providing St. Mark Knights more
opportunities to donate their time and talents to charitable causes.
-increasing the number of
volunteer service hours Council Brothers provide.
-increasing the financial aid our
Council provides to charitable causes.
- Grow and improve our Council
by:
-Increasing our Membership.
-Providing Brothers with the
opportunity to grow in their knowledge of the Catholic Church and the Knights of
Columbus.
-Ensuring that all Brothers have
the opportunity to learn about the benefits available
to them and their families through
Knights of Columbus Insurance Programs.
-Increasing attendance at monthly
Council Business Meetings by:
-holding monthly Leadership
TEAM meetings to ensure that officers are prepared for monthly Council Business
Meetings.
-Keeping monthly Council
Business Meetings reasonable in length.
-Concluding monthly Council
Business Meetings with attendance prize drawing.
-Providing food and drinks
after all monthly Council Business Meetings.
- Increase involvement of Knights,
their wives and families in Council and Church activities by:
-Distributing calendar of
Fraternal Year events and Council Goals to all Brothers.
-Listening to and consider
implementing recommended activities that would increase participation.
- Increase our support of Bishops,
Priests and Vocations through volunteer service hours, financial contributions and Prayer.
- Hold at least 2 1st Degrees
during Fraternal Year 2004-2005
-November 1, 2004
-March 7, 2005
- Provide recognition to Brothers
for their efforts, accomplishments and contributions toward our Council and St. Mark
Catholic Church's successes by:
-Communicating, both internally
and externally, Brother and Council activities.
-Selecting a Family of the Month
and a Knight of the Month.
-Reporting Brothers' activities to
State Deputy, NC and Supreme Council.
-Each Period obtain from each
Council Brother their volunteer activities.
-Submit Recognition Forms with
activities each trimester Period.
-In December receive from each
Council Brother their "Annual Survey of Fraternal Activity"
-Submit consolidated
"Annual Survey of Fraternal Activity" to State Deputy, NC and Supreme
Council
-At a Council level, providing
ongoing recognition and thanks.
-Ensuring Council and Brothers
receive all earned State and Supreme awards.
- Sell at least 500 State Raffle
Tickets generating over $1,250 for our Council's Charities.
- Wear St. Mark Knights of
Columbus badges at all Church and Knights' Activities.
- Do many small things with great
love.
